ACT er medarrangør for en internasjonal konferanse som skal bidra til å akselerere utvikling av hydrogenverdikjeden. Du finner arrangementet her: H2 Value Chain 2021 – Norsk Hydrogenforum
There is a strong momentum for hydrogen and fuel cell initiatives in the Nordic countries. The seminar on March 18th will show how the Nordic hydrogen industry can drive innovation and market growth.
The hydrogen industries in the Nordic country’s have a slightly different focus, mirroring different industrial structures and technological expertise areas:
Norway is active in maritime applications and has leading technology companies across the blue and green hydrogen value chains, including storage and distribution.
Denmark is working hard on combining its existing stronghold as a wind industry leader with hydrogen production across a range of transport applications.
Sweden is focusing on reinventing its heavy industries such as steel production, while also moving forward in the heavy trucks industry and fuel cell technologies.
Finland launched recently a roadmap focusing on low-carbon H2 production, H2 utilisation for green chemicals and fuels, as well as storage, transport and end-use.
Iceland has been viewing the role of H2 in decarbonizing its fuel consumption for two decades. Icelandic New Energy just launched “2030 Vision for Hydrogen in Iceland”.
The combined forces of the Nordic countries can create opportunities for more entrepreneurship and innovation across technologies and market applications.
